How it all started
Be Defined was launched in 2008 by two friends Jen & AJ. Working together for many years in corporate america we realized that we both believe strongly in the power of women and the need to express these strengths. We also realized that we wanted to make a difference in the world by supporting women's causes as well as sustaining our environment. Bringing together these values is at the core of Be Defined - developing eco-conscious products that encourage women to live the life they define!
AJ focused on her passion for graphic art and created the “bee” graphic featured on the front of all shirts, while Jen nurtured her talents for understanding people and her love of writing and crafted the definitions. Launching our own company is the first step in our journey of living the Life that We Define.

About Us
Jen, together with her husband Chris, lives in NJ and is a working mother of three balancing her passions for family, friends, work, and running.
She lives by the motto "Never let anyone say you can’t do it all!"
AJ lives with her husband and rescued kitties. She enjoys new challenges both physical and mental and is an avid runner, swimmer and scuba diver.
She loves to "Try something new every day!"
